Together, these guys are bringing to the Gait Lab, years and years of excitement for patients and families who visit us from all over the United States! Even now, before it is done, the children run up to the wall to look at the mural and say "hi" to the apple trees. To think that 3 short weeks ago this was an boring, blank, yellow wall.
Mark and Brian were selected after portfolio review of
7 artists from the University of Delaware.
Above this line was completed
by February 2, 2000. Pictured below...witness today's progress, Feb

More progress on the apples and green leaves.......
Mountains in the distance....1st coat put on the sky.......
Don't worry! That rust colored road is just the
first coat......Brian and Mark assured me that it would end up a yellow
brick road.
Fence is almost done.....Brian starts the second sky
coat. Mark had to leave early this day and left his signature as
the "Gait Lab Sun Dude". More magic on the sky coming up later....
Now what do you think of that cottage. Plans are
for a real light fixture to go in the white space above the door.
Ahh the detail we all take for granted! The fence
appears even more realistic with the shadow that Brian is adding!
