This web site is a picture album of our recent trip to Costa Rica. Freeman organized an excellent introduction to the country, using the travel guide from Moon. We also got a tip about a good guide that a friend had used on another trip: Johnny Montero. Johnny was great, and he really added to our experience. We recommend him.

First, our intrepid travellers; we departed from Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania through Philadelphia International Airport, changed planes in Atlanta, and then flew into San Jose on February 19th.

These pictures were taken at dinner in San Jose... a rogues gallery if I ever saw one.

It was everyone's first trip to Costa Rica. High on the agenda were the natural wonders of this eco-tourism destination: volcanoes, rain forest, and other natural wonders, as well as good food, coffee, and friendly people.
